On 29th August hurricane Erika passed over Dominica, leaving devastation in it’s path, killing at least 20 persons and leaving 24 unaccounted for. Emily PG was scheduled to visit Dominica on 20th September and SoL and PGT took the opportunity to donate some urgently needed supplies. The supplies, comprising bottled water, tinned soup, fruit and vegetables, baby milk and diapers were loaded on board the deck of Emily PG in Pointe a Pierre in two cubic sacks.

All those involved received the gratitude of the people of Dominica: “A great big ‘thank you’ to your entire team for assisting with this delivery. The recipients of these items will be eternally appreciative for the contribution.”
